Jesus replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority . . . to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:18-20

My name is Angela Sansone (formerly Angela Thye) and I have been walking alongside Jesus from my beginning days. As a two-month old, I joined my parents on the mission field in Indonesia. I’ve witnessed the power of God’s mighty hand in my life in many ways:

  • Oppressed by a legion of demonic presences for first 32 years of life that took hold during family’s time spent as missionaries in Asia (2 mo.-8 yrs old)
  • Set free from 32 years of spiritual oppression June 2007—3 four hour sessions with the Omaha Vineyard intercessory prayer team over a four year span
  • 16 years of Jesus developing me into the below types of an intercessor (ages 18-34; 1994-2010)
  • Since 2010, I have led singles and couples through 40 Day Personal Prayer Focuses dealing with long-term spiritual oppression that has been present in the their lives
  • 2012 – Publishing of Precious Stones of Intercession

What I used to believe in my head, I now firmly know in my heart — Jesus is more than able to bring our enemies and strongholds to their knees so they fall but we rise up and stand firm (Psalm 20:6-8).  I have had the privilege and the heartache of experiencing the victories and defeats that are a part of ministry life.  Many times as I walked through the defeats with my brothers and sisters, I wanted to remove myself from the pain and the heartache of battling on the front lines.  In those times, God both comforted me deeply and strongly challenged me as to whether I believed His words in Isaiah 46:11 or not, “What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do.”

I have learned that in intercession God bringing about the answer, the healing, or the change is often months or even years in the future.  While never wavering from testing everything (1 Thessalonians 5:19-20), we need to be willing to live by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7) and to embrace his promise that he will not let us be disgraced or put to shame (Isaiah 50:7).

Every day he is the God who invites us to join him in his exhilarating rescue mission described in Isaiah 49:25, “But this is what the LORD says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.”  My prayer is that you would join Him in intercession or be encouraged as you continue to persevere in interceding; it will be worth it.

Will Davis Jr.:

Angela is a called and gifted intercessor, and if you’re not sure what that means you need to learn about it.

Angela was kind enough to reach out to me simply to let me know that the Holy Spirit wanted her to begin interceding for Susie and me. I can’t tell you how humbling and encouraging it is to hear from Angela and know that she has been praying Scripture, sometimes through the early morning hours, for us.

In Precious Stones, Angela tells her powerful story of God’s healing in her life and shares many of her insights in prayer and spiritual warfare. I gladly recommend it as it has truths in it only gleaned from long, quiet hours sitting at Jesus’ feet. — Will Davis, Lead Pastor Austin Christian Fellowship

Dr. Eric & Chris Tober:
Angela is a crazily obedient to our Father when it comes to praying for me, my wife, Chris, and the ministry issues that come into our lives. Sometimes she is aligned so much with what we’re going through it is scary…but confirming. We thank our Lord for Angela’s ministry of prayer. — Dr. Eric Tober, Lead Pastor Faith Community Church

Debi Lydic:
The most valuable support a Director of Women’s Ministry can receive is that of prayer.  Early on in my ministry, Angela made a faithful commitment to pray for me and for the women of our church.   There was not a single event, Bible Study, missions trip or activity involving our women that was not covered in prayer by her.  What a tremendous peace and blessing it was to know that someone was earnestly and fervently lifting up our ministry before the throne of God.  I am very grateful for Angela and her intercession on behalf of her sisters in Christ.

Rod Reding:
If you desire for someone to pour their heart and soul into prayer for you, then you have come to the right place. Angela is a seasoned prayer warrior who will come alongside you with courage and truth to battle the spiritual realm through the power of Jesus Christ.

Jill Reding:
Angela is my friend, a sister in Christ, my prayer partner during a tough season in life, and an intercessor over me and my family.

She’s tuned into the Spirit’s leading as she prays for others. I often pray for her to feel rested as I know she stays awake at night standing in the gap for her sisters and brothers. She gave me a life verse and crazy enough, she noticed the verse in Psalms corresponded with my house address. Angela’s faithfulness to her Father is inspiring and encouraging.

Thank you Angela for loving the Lord with all you heart, soul, mind and strength and loving others with passion and dedication.

Dr. Robert Stouffer:
Angela Sansone is one of my dearest and most trustworthy friends. Angela and I worked together as colleagues at Des Moines Christian (she as a third grade teacher and I as Superintendent). I was also honored that Angela and her husband Mike asked me to read and give exposition of Scripture during their wonderful wedding celebration in August of 2011. Angela is a humble woman of God. She has always been extremely supportive of me. She definitely has the gift of encouragement. I walk away from my every interaction with Angela better off for the experience.

Most importantly, she lifts me up through her intercessory prayer. I have NEVER encountered a more Spirit-led prayer warrior. Her insights from the Father are amazing. Angela’s abiding relationship with Christ allows her to discern at much clearer and deeper levels than any other Christian I know. What a blessing when a sister such as Angela knows, uses, and encourages others with such a valuable spiritual gift. Interact with Angela, and you will see for yourself! I give her my highest recommendation as an intercessory prayer warrior!
