Drawing Circles

Are you ready for an invigorating faith journey?

Mark Batterson invites you into that very thing in his book, Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge.

In doing this challenge, I found encouragement, fresh perspective, and grew in my passion to continue persisting through prayer. It was also invigorating to read others’ accounts of how God has worked mightily as they have faithfully circled people, situations, and impossible realities through specific, concentrated, and persistent prayer.

It’s also exciting to read the biblical principles set forth in Draw the Circle and see them played out in the movie, War Room.

We live at a time in history where it is so vital that we as believers are a part of the war room of prayer God has called each of us to.

Ephesians 6:12-13 says:

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. [ESV]

Are you faithfully circling your family, friends, situations, challenges, community, our nation and world in the war room of prayer?

May we be found faithful.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. — Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV
