Psalm 34:18 promises us, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

When your heart is broken and your spirit is crushed, you desperately long for a tangible sense of God’s comfort.

The poems in His Comfort center around just that: a tangible sense of His comfort as you reflect with Jesus on those lonely roads, dusty and seemingly deserted trails, valleys of grief, and dark nights of unanswered questions He has brought you through.

As you read the poems in His Comfort, you will find that Jesus is bringing you through to take you to a higher place. In the journey, He is giving you hinds feet in high places (Hab. 3:19 AMP).

Along with our brothers and sisters in the faith, we will one day cry with joyful tears and awe-filled amazement, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him, and He saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in Him; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.” (Isaiah 25:1,9)

“And how blessed all those in whom you live, whose lives become roads you travel; They wind through lonesome valleys, come upon brooks, discover cool springs and pools brimming with rain! God-traveled, these roads curve up the mountain, and at last — Zion! God in full view!”

(Ps. 84:5-7 The Message)

Angela SansoneAngela Sansone (formerly Angela Thye) has been walking alongside Jesus from her beginning days. As a two-month old, she joined her parents on the mission field in Indonesia. She began her journey with Jesus at the age of four and has been living in His Comfort and loving grip since.

In 1999, Angela became a missionary teacher with World Impact, teaching 1st Grade at Newark Christian School in Newark, NJ. Six months after her arrival, she developed chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) which led to her resignation in 2001. During a seven year struggle with CFS, Jesus brought Angela through an amazing healing process — spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

In 2011, Angela launched 10:19 Ministries based on Luke 10:19. Angela’s first book, “Precious Stones of Intercession: Specific and Persistent Prayer on Behalf of Others”, is due to be available during the summer of 2012. Angela and her husband Mike live in Omaha, Nebraska.
