What’s your story of being touched by Jesus?
Over my 36 years of life, Jesus has touched me and brought deep healing to me physically, emotionally and spiritually.
One of my favorite parts of my prophetic intercession ministry is seeing Father redeem His children’s hearts, lives, and impossible situations.
“I love to touch My children’s hearts.” – Father
Many times, He brings us through a process of healing rather than immediate removal of it. For in that healing process we are:
- Drawn ever closer to His heart (Dt 33:12)
- Strengthened by His strength that infuses our spirits in our weakened states. (2 Cor 12:9-10)
- Able to Receive deeper healing, as we take time to process the inevitable layers that come along with most wounds, scars, illnesses, and heartaches.
- Filter out what doesn’t matter and fix our eyes more firmly and what does (2 Cor 4:16-18)
Most importantly, as we submit to that healing process, Father does a transforming work in our hearts and lives best described by the truth of Psalm 106:8-12 (NLT):
Even so, he saved them —
to defend the honor of his name
and to demonstrate his mighty power.
He commanded the Red Sea to dry up.
He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert.
So he rescued them from their enemies
and redeemed them from their foes.
Then the water returned and covered their enemies;
not one of them survived.
Then his people believed his promises.
Then they sang his praise.
A Christian brother who I had the privilege of interceding for him and his family during a pivotal time in their lives reflected,
It is truly amazing and astounding . . . and you can count on it. Father is committed to one primary purpose in the hearts and lives of His children, and that is to transform them more into the likeness of His Son, Jesus.
Father will defend the honor of His name and demonstrate His mighty power in your life so that you will believe His promises and sing His praise.
And as a result, He will use you to participate with Him in defending the honor of His name and demonstrating His mighty power in the lives of those around you so that they too will believe His promises and sing His praise.
